About us

HG Design Works is an interdisciplinary design studio grounded in the belief that enduring spaces are shaped through clarity, proportion, and material intelligence.

Founded on a practice spanning hospitality, residential, and maritime interiors, the studio approaches design as a dialogue between architecture, craft, and lived experience. Each project reflects a careful balance of structure and expression—where form is purposeful, materials are honest, and detail carries meaning.

Over time, the studio has developed a body of work that includes bespoke furniture, interior environments, and conceptual studies. These pieces and projects are unified not by style, but by a shared commitment to restraint, longevity, and thoughtful composition.

Today, HG Design Works continues to operate as both a working studio and an archive of design inquiry—preserving earlier studies while allowing new ideas to emerge with intention and focus.

Studio Transition Note

HG Design Works is currently in a period of intentional transition.

Over the course of its practice, the studio has engaged in large-scale hospitality, residential, and conceptual design work—often requiring extended timelines, complex collaborations, and significant production infrastructure. As the studio evolves, its focus is shifting toward a more deliberate and curated mode of practice.

This transition allows space to preserve and share earlier design studies while selectively engaging in new work that reflects the studio’s present priorities. Certain pieces and projects remain available as part of the Design Archive, while future initiatives are developed with greater precision and clarity.

HG Design Works continues to operate with the same commitment to material integrity, proportion, and thoughtful design—guided not by scale, but by intention.
