Hans J. Galutera is widely renowned for his experience in the art and science of enhancing the interiors, and at times including the exterior, of a space or building, to achieve a safer, healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the end user. Hans is an expert with plans, researches, coordination, and management of luxury residential and a specialty niche in cruiseship hospitality projects. This also includes the basic requirements of conceptual development, space planning, site inspections, programming, research, communicating with the stakeholders of a project, construction management, and execution of the design.
As a leading expert, Hans is frequently invited as a panelist or moderator at universities and conferences globally and was appointed the prestigious honor of being President for the International Interior Design Association for the New York Chapter and a Professional Member of Design Institute of Australia. He currently sits as one of the Educational Board Directors for NY11Plus, advisory Board Member for FITSUNY (his alma mater) for the Interior Design Curriculum and a Board Member of the famed Times Square Garment Alliance District for improving the Crossroads of the World as a major international destination.
Hans is also an Honorary Member of the Society of British International Interior Design and as Co-Founder and Principal of BG Studio, his architectural interior design team won an award for Best Maritime and Naval Design for Transport received at the Historical Parliament House of Lords in London, UK.
